Koloron® is a brand of spunbonded olefin. A synthetic art and craft material it offers unique properties for artists of all ages. Koloron feels and handles like paper but is strong like fabric. The surface takes all colouring medium and is as easy to work on as paper. Paints, crayons, marker pens all leave strong bright marks and the decorated material can be fashioned into garments and costumes.

For young children who enjoy both painting and dressing up Koloron enables new creative

Stitching is a popular means of joining the fabric but, as with paper, PVA will securely
join large areas together. Koloron is also very useful for creative structures and
can be wired. This is a means of trapping wire between two layers of material so

Koloron has provided creative opportunities for artists and designers working for the stage and the catwalk. Garments are often made with the basic white material and then decorated with spray paint and glitters. Costumes can carry any decoration that can be sewn or glued into position.
The strength of Koloron makes it ideal for banners and hanging displays. With very little weight in the material it is easy and safe to attach to ceilings and walls. The stage has adopted it too for stretched backdrops and scenery items, as storage requires little to no space compared to the heavyweight canvasses of the past.
Only Koloron in the ranges of spunbonded olefins, meets the high safety standards required when working with children and in public areas BS EN 71 and BS 5722, the UK nightwear safety regulation and conforms to the published toxicity and flammability requirements.
Koloron is available in many roll sizes up to 1.5 metres in width. Also a variety of garments are manufactured to speed the process of school plays and shows.
