Koloron offers a real alternative to conventional craft materials.  For years people have wanted the convenience of crisp white paper but suffered the frustration of its flimsiness when using it for 3D work.  Stitches would pull through, folds would collapse and the surface would damage with frequent handling. Well now there is a choice.

Koloron is a non-woven fabric so it doesn’t fray when cut but it can be worked like any fabric.  It is used for fashion garments, banners, flags and now for embroidery and crochet. Yes, cut into strips, Koloron can be braided, plaited and even crocheted. And when the work of making is done it can then be coloured. Almost any type of paint will give good results, brushed, sprayed or sponged on. Felt tipped pens, crayons and drawing inks and pens all have their value. Gel and glitter pens are good as are metallic paints and tapes.

For collage Koloron will work well with a wide range of materials and fabrics, it can be decorated before or after use and can   provide the opportunity to draw, or write or paint individual panels.

A new material for Crafts, artists and designers
Koloron is a combination of paper and fabric and it opens up a whole new range of possibilities
Imagine paper as tough as fabric, imagine fabric that cuts like paper with scissors. Paper that stitches and fabric that glues together with PVA.  All this and more is Koloron.

Flower arrangers like Koloron too because it is unaffected by water and when wired can be used to fashion artificial leaves and flowers. A cool iron will fix folds and warmer temperatures will melt Koloron in very creative ways.
