Give your School Play that West End look
Stage productions on tight budgets - Koloron opens up the possibilities
Nothing wows the audience like bright flamboyant costumes and Koloron will give you the look without it breaking your budget. Koloron has been created to produce dramatic effects; it is the first Art Fabric made for painting on.

A big brush and plenty of colour is great for the scenery so why not for the costumes? Because there has never been a fabric you could successfully paint on.  That is until now. Called Koloron it is the first Art Fabric and it's making a big difference to stage productions everywhere.

You can use Koloron everywhere you need a material that handles like fabric but has the decorative potential of paper. It can be used for hundreds of different creative costume ideas because it will cut, glue, stitch, paint, print and melt and that's just the start for this new Art medium.

If you are working with Primary pupils you can choose to use ready-made garments for speed and convenience.  Designed like large tabards these garments can be tailored with scissors and PVA before painting. Cut edges will not fray and with a little ingenuity can be fashioned into most types of costumes. Then with paint they can be brushed or sprayed to create imaginative and brightly  coloured suits that will surprise and delight your audience.

For Secondary level students and adult productions where greater involvement from the production team is practical Koloron Art Fabric supplied on the roll can be made-up into more elaborate costumes and then painted and decorated to achieve vibrant and striking results. Metallic colours, luminous paints and reflective materials can all help achieve unique, flamboyant and professional costumes without great expenditure.

When it comes to big brushwork for scenery Koloron can help here too. Stretched and stapled to frames or boards you can create all the scenery you could want. Being lightweight it can be rolled up and tucked away until needed again.
